ABOUT JESSIE AND MARK:
Accomplished multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter Mark Turner and jazz/blues singer and songwriter Jessie Gordon have known each other for many years, since he was a mere slip of a 13 year old and she was a willowy red head avoiding the sun at all opportunities. More than 20 years of friendship have ensued, with music as the cornerstone of their lives.
Together they have toured Australia, Asia and Europe, won multiple awards and recorded on eight albums, including their collaborative releases ‘Best Friends’ (2019) and ‘Live at Kidogo’ (2021).
Mark and Jessie enjoy a friendship that thrives on celebrating each other, celebrating the joy of living and sharing deeply in the painful, beautiful moments of life.
