It All Starts With the Song: The MLC’s Song Registration Workshop

In this interactive workshop, held in person at HOME, we will walk you through each step of the song registration process. You cannot collect your digital mechanical royalties if your songs are not properly registered in The MLC’s database. What you will learn and do in this workshop will ensure you are not missing out on your royalties.

Workshop Highlights:

• Refresher: A brief presentation about The MLC and the types of royalties it collects and distributes
• Walk Through: Demonstrations by our expert instructors of all of The MLCs song (works) registration and management tools
• Tools at Your Fingertips: Time for you to use The MLC’s tools on your own, with MLC support staff standing by to provide assistance

Workshop Requirements:

• MLC Membership: Participants must be MLC members to attend. Not a member yet? Join now and allow 48 hours for processing before attending the workshop.
• Laptop with Wi-Fi: Please bring a working laptop that can connect to Wi-Fi. If you intend to use The MLC’s spreadsheet bulk upload tool, also ensure that you have spreadsheet software installed on your laptop.
• Song Information: Have details ready about the songs (works) you intend to register, so you can make the most of the workshop.
