Join legendary DJ, producer and Brighton icon Norman Cook – aka Fatboy Slim – for an exclusive live event to mark the launch of his debut book, It Ain’t Over... ’Til the Fatboy Sings, published by Rocket 88 Books. Taking place at the historic Theatre Royal Brighton, this intimate one-night-only experience sees Norman step out from behind the decks and onto the stage for an evening of candid conversation, untold stories and audience interaction.

Hosted by Brighton’s own Guy Lloyd, the event will explore the highs, lows and glorious chaos of Norman’s four-decade career. From his early days in The Housemartins to the rise of Beats International and global superstardom as Fatboy Slim, Norman will reflect on the journey that made him one of the most influential and beloved figures in British music. Expect behind-the-scenes stories from iconic tracks like ‘Right Here, Right Now’ and ‘Praise You’, insight into his creative process, and offbeat anecdotes you won’t hear anywhere else.

Based on content from the new book – packed with personal photos, memorabilia, rare objects and reflections – the evening will include a live in-conversation segment, an open audience Q&A, and a chance to meet Norman in person at a post-show exclusive book signing.

This is not a DJ set – it’s a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with a music pioneer in a beautifully intimate setting. Whether you grew up with his sound, danced through the big beat era, or simply love a great story told by someone who’s lived every word of it, this is a Brighton moment not to miss.

“After 40 years in showbiz, we’ve pulled together the stories, the stuff, the madness… and now we’re sharing it. I’m buzzing to do it in Brighton – not with a DJ set this time, but with stories and memories that shaped it all.” – Norman Cook
Tickets are limited. Book now and be part of a one-night celebration of music, memories and mayhem.
