Why swing dancing?
We I was 15 a friend of mine asked ‘do you want to go take a Lindy hop class Friday?’ And I replied, ‘I don’t know what that is but sure!’ This was back in the days of the Gap swing dance khaki commercial.
I was hooked. Swing and partner dancing became the center of my social life. Over the years I’ve learned over 18 partner dances, traveled, competed, and taught groups big and small. Dancing is pure joy and delight. And I would love to share that with you.
