A multidisciplinary group exhibition featuring painters, potters, and digital artists, each responding to a central, deeply personal question: What does femininity mean to you? The exhibition deliberately probes the subtle but profound difference between feminine, often understood as an external set of aesthetics or traits, and femininity, a complex, lived, and shifting state of being that transcends appearance and resists easy definition.
Each artist interprets this question through the language of their medium, allowing form, texture, light, and process to convey meaning beyond surface-level representation.
Across painting, ceramics, and digital art, the exhibition navigates both material and emotional landscapes. It highlights the tension between societal expectations and individual experience, uncovering the ways femininity is performed, hidden, or reclaimed. Through this interplay, the works reveal femininity as an evolving narrative shaped by culture, memory, and personal truth.
It’s About the -ity is not just an exhibition; it is a living dialogue - a visual, tactile, and emotional space that invites reflection on what it truly means to be feminine, who has the power to define or express it, and how this meaning transforms as it is felt, questioned, and reimagined.
