Istvaan 3 - Purge of the Legion's is a narrative Horus Heresy - Age of Darkness event.The war master has tiped his hand, can the loyalist forces gather enough information and resources to help strike back at the rebel forces once the reprisal fleet arives.
Here, players will get the opportunity to take part in small, 1000pt skirmishes with opposing forces. Each result having an effect on the large battle that will take place on the 30th July.
This event is to get players up to scratch with the new rules and get the Horus Heresy juices flowing. multiple games will be played this day against various opponents.
No demand for painted miniatures, jist get your legions built and bring them along.
However, there will be some small prizes for best painted army/miniature (various sizes), most entertaining players etc.
There is no pressure to join this schedule however, your ticket gives you access to this format. If you have your own games organised, you are welcome to do that and then join this later in the day.
We will be taking names of players, their factions and then placing into a draw. This will be done between heretic and loyalist as best as we can. We will draw names and then assign you a table number.
Please register your name and faction between 9 and 9.30.
You will be drawn at random for the 1st game.
Results submitted (winner/loser), this will be recorded for the Istvaan 5 event.
For game 2 and onwards, winners will be drawn together, losers will be drawn together.

Entrants will be chosen and asked to display their minis during the break in a designated area. All participants then have 1 vote each.
There is also a prize for most entertaining players that will be voted at the end of the day.

We will have 8 x Half Boards for use. So 16 players is ideally the max.
