About this Event
You may remember pre-Covid, the Yorkshire Regional Group produced a leaflet titled 'Leeds, an Engineered City', which outlined a walking route through Leeds highlighting some of it's more interesting buildings/engineering achievements. In 2019 we walked half this route as our June Yorkshire Regional Group Meeting.
As part the centenary celebrations of the Yorkshire Regional Group, we will be completing the other half of the walk on June 19th 2024, starting at 6pm in Millenium Square (LS2 3AD).
From there we will walk down the Eastern side of the city centre to the Leeds Armouries, stopping off at locations including the First Direct Arena, Victoria Gate Shopping Centre, Kirkgate Market, Victoria Quarter, Leeds Corn Exchange and Leeds Minster.
After completing the walk we will head to 'The Palace' pub (adjacent to Leeds Minster) for a light buffet (7.30pm expected time of arrival).
The buffet will be free but, as it needs booking in advance, can you please confirm your attendance by completing the Eventbrite registration that can be accessed via the link below.
Some hard copies of the map should be available on the night, but a PDF version can be downloaded using this link if you want to print a copy in advance.
