About this Event
This interactive workshop will discuss key challenges and best practices in the implementation of the Family First Prevention Services Act, with a focus on how technology can help support these workflows and the collection of key data. The session will highlight key workflows, identify the challenges, and solicit participant feedback on how technology and data analytics solutions/initiatives can help agencies and practitioners overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
The workshop will begin with an overview of the Family First Prevention Services Act, providing key highlights and opportunities presented by the Act. Experts from two different states- Virginia and North Dakota- will share their experiences with Families First implementation, and Chapin Hall, a leading thought partner supporting states in Families First implementation, will provide an overview of their work and the measurement frameworks used to track Evidence Based Practices under the Act. Each panelist will bring perspectives on the challenges, opportunities, successes, and the role of technology in the implementation of Families First.
