Attend our recruitment seminar to receive in-depth information regarding the role and application process of a Special Constable.

Our Special Constabulary volunteers show courage, teamwork and compassion on a daily basis to make a real difference to people’s lives in the communities they serve.
We look for all kinds of skills, because we know it takes all kinds of people to protect the public. Problem solving, compassion, resilience, respect, courage and teamwork. These are the qualities we are looking for, and if you think you might have the skills to serve why not apply?
During this event we will cover what it's like to be a Special Constable on the Isle of Wight, the recruitment, application and selection process, and will be able to answer any questions you may have. You will also hear testimonies from serving Special Constables and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
