About this Event
We will take you on a whisky tasting tour of the the most famous dram producing island of Islay.
This Hebridean island hosts such biodiversity and heritage that it boasts the most distilleries within a small geographical space. What is it about the peat in the soil or the way the salt within sea air blows inland that creates such varied complexity of flavours?
Our distillery expert will use a carefully curated selection of single malts to explain this. You will learn about the heritage of the distilleries, the uniqueness of their positioning within the landscape, the techniques involved in it’s creation and learn the different ways to taste, including notes and pairings to really expand on this wonderful experience.
