Please join us for the 3rd annual Islamic Art Experience. We thank you all for the success of our 2022 and 2023 events, which drew participants from across Metro Vancouver and offered an enriching opportunity to explore the vibrant arts of the Islamic world.
The Islamic Art Experience, a program of Islamic Art of British Columbia established in 2019, promotes cultural awareness and understanding through the arts. This aligns with UNESCO’s 2019 proclamation of November 18 as the International Day of Islamic Art, highlighting its role in inspiring global artistic movements.
This year’s event, scheduled for Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Richmond Public Library’s Brighouse Branch in Richmond, B.C., will once again promote cross-cultural exchange and is designed to be a replicable model for any city.
Our 3rd Annual Exhibition of Islamic Art will be held at Richmond Public Library Community Arts Wall spaces from Nov. 3, 2024, until Dec. 31, 2024, and will include a public opening and reception.
Since 2019, our annual Islamic Art Experience and Welcome Ramadan & Celebrate Eid events have excited Muslims and non-Muslims alike, attracting 350 to 700+ attendees across Metro Vancouver.
These are volunteer-run community arts programs that rely on the generous support of individuals, businesses, and organizations and the participation of our talented community artists and performers.
