Ishna is thrilled to invite you to join them for a special show at the iconic Paddy Reilly's Music Bar, celebrating the release of their album, "Slí Amach: Way Out". Ishna is a Boston-based contemporary Irish folk band, fronted by husband-and-wife duo Ciaran Nagle and Tara Novak (both of Riverdance and The Three Irish Tenors). They explore traditional repertoire within the context of a global setting, bringing their diverse backgrounds into their carefully crafted arrangements.The album was recorded in a barn in rural New Hampshire over a week in the summer of 2025. It was recorded, mixed and mastered by Oscar-and-Grammy-winning Robert L. Smith at Defy Recordings. The album artwork was designed by the legendary Steve Averill (creator of all the logos and artwork for U2).
“Slí Amach: Way Out" is energetic and uplifting, and infused with the camaraderie of the musicians. It invites the listener into the fold of their community and to experience the beloved music of Ireland in a new way.
