Music fans will gather to hear a trio of songwriters playing in-the-round in between sharing stories and describing their process.
About the evening's host: Ishmael Katz (Eclectricity on WSLR) is a singer-songwriter whose music has been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and on national television and radio in Canada. He’s been writing songs since he was 17 — which, as he’ll tell you, was a very long time ago. Ishmael occupies a niche all his own, blending humor and Eastern mysticism into ragtime- and blues-inspired tunes. Some people think he’s funny. He’s one of them.
Katz will be joined on the Fogartyville stage by Elaine Bolton and Carey Chaney.
