Duke of George presentsIsabel Rumble "Bird Be Brave" WA Tour supported by Oceanique and Andrew Mostyn Powell
Rising Australian folk star Isabel Rumble (Tas) brings her stunning, soft, stirring debut "Bird Be Brave" to WA for the first time, along with new tracks set for release later in 2024.
Isabel's songs bring listeners into a warm cocoon, addressing the subtleties of love, hope and longing, with a smooth, gentleness that lulls and washes over listeners - music at once alive and reflective. Fresh from appearances at 2024's Port Fairy Folk Festival, and Bird Be Brave's nomination for the Folk Alliance's "Contemporary Folk Album of the Year", Isabel plays one solo Perth show on this tour with support from very special guests...
Oceanique
Twin sisters Maddy & Jess bring their beautiful folk harmonies to the Duke in their first show in WA for ages, and having supported Isabel’s album launch in Naarm/Melb last year https://oceaniquemusic.com/music
Andrew Mostyn Powell
Known to many as frontman of The Jaycos and bucket, Andrew will open the night with a very rare solo show of new material, including his excellent single “Circle In The Lights” out through WA's Igloo Records https://igloo.bandcamp.com/track/circle-in-the-lights
Both Oceanique and Andrew join Isabel for a night of warm, nourishing & grounded music that will also let your spirit soar!
