Is Baby Talk Good? A Story Time and Play -n-Learn about all the ways kids and families (Hearing, D/deaf, and Hard of hearing) communicate. We will have crafts and a chance for parents to learn and ask questions with the folks from UConn Hello Lab!The mission of the HELLO Lab is to bridge the gap between science and practical applications, with a particular focus on children who are D/deaf or hard of hearing.
We are passionate about exploring how early auditory experiences and parent-child interactions shape the foundation of spoken language learning, thereby opening new avenues for effective interventions and support.
By collaborating with educators, parents, and communities, we aspire to bring about positive changes in language learning opportunities and outcomes for all children.
