Ten years after World War II, old Army buddies Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have become a successful song-and-dance duo. When they meet the musically talented Haynes Sisters, Phil is instantly smitten by Judy, while Bob is attracted to Betty. Following the sisters to their seasonal singing engagement at a Vermont inn, Wallace and Davis discover that the inn’s owner is none other than their wartime commander, General George Waverley.
