What we are doing:
Let's see what kind of projects our community is working on! Do you have an app or website or cool software idea you want to build? Do you have zero ideas yourself, but want to help others? Are you just curious to see what other people are working on? Then come to our Community Collab Night!
Meet fellow software developers, designers and adjacent people to learn, collaborate and make something new. Show us what you've been working on and any progress that you've made. Our main goal is for you to leave the event with new ideas and new connections and friends to build projects with. There won't be much time for actual work during the meetup, instead it's more about meeting people to get your dream project built, or at least something good for the resume.
There will be pizza and drinks available for everyone.
Who this is for:
Everyone in tech is welcome to come, no matter the experience level. This event is not just for engineers; designers, managers, and anyone within the tech space is invited.
The activities:
Attendees are welcome to present any projects or ideas you are working on or planning. Try to limit presentations to around 5 minutes. Afterwards everyone can meet with the presenters they're interested in and start working together with them.
How do I present my project?
Email the hosts at [email protected] with any project presentation you may have. You'll be able to show this presentation on a projector for the audience. Your project does not have to be complex or even started. The goal is to share what you're working on with the community and find collaborators.
Schedule:
6:00pm - Check-in, mingle, find your seats, eat
6:30pm - People start sharing projects
7:30 pm - Find projects you like and start collaborating
9:00pm - Clean up and leave
The Next Day - keep in touch with your new collaborators and continue building

We will be meeting at the famous Duck Club, located at 15 Riparian View, Irvine, CA 92612. Please see photos for directions and parking information. If you have any questions, ask in the Discord server.
