IRS Recruitment Event: Revenue Agent Positions - Indianapolis, IN

The IRS is hiring experienced and entry-level accountants for our Revenue Agent position for the Indianapolis, IN area.

This meet & greet event is hosted by the Tax Exempt Government Entities (TE/GE) Division. We'd like to meet with you to describe the position and if you are interested, take the next step by interviewing you to determine if you'd be a good fit within TE/GE.

LIMIT of one registration time slot per person

In-Person Interviews are being conducted for the following position:

Revenue Agent

• Revenue Agents conduct exams, prepare audit statements, assess tax based on audit findings, and educate taxpayers. There is NO age limit. (see “Duties” section for further position expectations)

• Revenue Agent candidates must have a certificate as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a bachelors or higher degree in accounting that included at least 30 semester hours in accounting or 24 semester hours in accounting and an additional 6 semester hours in related subjects such as business law, economics, statistical/quantitative methods, computerized accounting or financial systems, financial management, or finance (see “Qualifications” section for further/varying qualifying factors)
