This is THE tournament you don't want your youth bowler to miss.
Entry Deadline is December 15th 2025.
Marathon Entry - $170. This allows the bowler to participate in all four shifts.
Single Entry - $50. This allows the bowler to participate in any one shift of their choice. Bowler can pay to enter more than 1 shift. Discounted rate for multiple shifts purchased.
All marathon entries are average non-specific. There are a total of 36 marathon spots for the girls division and 36 marathon spots for the boys division.
All single entries are gender and division non-specific. There are a total of 64 single entries available (16 per shift).
All entries close when maximum amount have been received or the entry deadline has passed. Entries received past entry deadline will NOT be accepted even if tournament is not full.
Format:
Each shift consists of 3 games bowled across 6 lanes. Lanes will be conditioned before shift 1 (9am), shift 4 (5:30pm) and Sunday Finals.
Handicap is 100% of 200. Any bowler may compete in the Scratch Division regardless of average, however, they will not receive any handicap during qualifying or finals. Bowlers with an entering average greater than 200 must bowl the Scratch Division.
At the conclusion of all shifts the Top 5 in each division will move onto the Sunday Finals at 9am January 11th. The 6th and final spot (wildcard) in each division is determined by the bowler with the most accumulative pin count for all squads and did not qualify in the Top 5. The wildcard spot will also move onto the Sunday Finals at 9am.
Sunday Finals will consist of divisional Round Robin Match-play. Scores calculated based on +/- 200 format with Handicap. Bowler who wins match will gain an additional 30 bonus pins. After completion of Divisional Round Robin Match-play the top boy and girl from each division will move forward to the step-ladder finals.
Step-ladder finals are single game elimination matches. The top seed will have a bye. First step-ladder match will be the 2nd place qualifier vs. 3rd place qualifier. Winner from the girl's step-ladder bracket and the boy's step-ladder bracket will bowl one match for the IRON-Youth Championship.
All scholarship money collected will be placed into USBC SMART account and assigned to the participants. All bowlers making the Sunday Finals will receive scholarship money.
