The Irish World Academy is partnering with PPI Ignite @ UL and local NGO Doras to host this Irish World Music Café designed to welcome newcomers to Ireland, with a special focus on demonstrating how this arts-based method can help to build meaningful research connections with communities.
The Irish World Music Café was established in 2015 by the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at UL, in partnership with Doras, a Limerick-based human rights organisation working to promote and protect the rights of refugees and migrants. The main goal of the café is to provide a creative, social space for newcomers to Limerick. Please join us in the UL City Campus where all are welcome to engage in the singing or to simply enjoy some food, a beverage, good company and good music!
