Aontú, a pro-life and pro-family party, joined the recent vote in Dáil Éireann that averted the massive expansion of abortion, the legalization in Ireland of abortion on demand up to six months, and decriminalisation up to birth.

Chris Slattery and his wife, Eileen, campaigned tirelessly to end abortion, saving thousands of babies. Chris founded EMC Frontline, New York City's largest network of pregnancy care centers, now part of CompassCare Pregnancy Services.
