Iration is an alternative/reggae group originally formed in Isla Vista, CA. With deep-rooted island influences and a Hawaii upbringing, the band fuses elements of rock, pop, and reggae to create a smooth and uplifting sound, paired with a high-energy live show. Now, after almost two decades of creating music together, Iration has amassed over 1 billion streams, topped Billboard charts, and established themselves as one of the most beloved reggae-rock bands to emerge independently in the US.
Upon the announce of their headlining Summer tour ‘Where It All Began,’ the band is gearing up for the next wave of their career – with new music, a new spirit and more direct connection to their fans. They have released several new songs such as “Say Goodnight” featuring Little Stranger, and most recently “Roots” featuring Maoli; plus “Island Time”—a laid-back, acoustic-driven campfire sing-along—and “Number 1” featuring Kolohe Kai that debuted live at Honolulu Band Shell, and will continue to deliver more surprises in 2026.
Iration has been touring nationally since 2008, performing at major festivals like Lollapalooza, Sunfest, Hangout, Bottlerock, Outside Lands, Reggae Rise Up, and Cali Vibes Fest, where they’ve earned a reputation for delivering unforgettable live experiences. “Every night we create a little bit of paradise for the people that are coming to the show,” Micah Brown told editors at Billboard.
Iration’s first four albums reached No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, with early fan favorites “Time Bomb” and “Falling” forming the foundation of the band’s signature sound, which earned RIAA Gold Status in 2020. Their music continues to resonate with listeners across the country, making waves on alternative rock radio stations like Los Angeles’ KROQ and receiving praise from outlets such as American Songwriter, The Noise, and All Music.
