The Iowa Safe Schools’ Spirit Awards is an annual gala dedicated to recognizing the successes of the LGBTQ community, friends, and allies. This yearly event is a time to applaud the work of our partners, community members, and students who work everyday to inspire positive change. We're thrilled to have Jackie Cox, semi-finalist from Season 12 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, hosting this year's event! Jackie was the first queen of Iranian descent to appear on the show, making history when she wore a hijab on the runway.
This event is crucial to fundraising dollars supporting our student work in all 99 counties! Please join us to help us uplift LGBTQ students across Iowa.
