Come join us for an hour of drum fun on June 24th at the Iowa City Public Library from 1p-2p. Drum Iowa will be introducing foundational Djembè and hand percussion to Iowa City area youth. While this free event is geared towards youth aged 7-15, parents and adults are welcome to join in as well! Limited amount of drums and percussion instruments are available to borrow. If you’d like to come out with your own Djembe, you are welcome! 🪘💜🪘
