About this Event
October draws us into the West on the Medicine Wheel—a time of turning inward, honoring endings, and releasing what no longer serves. As the trees let go of their leaves, we are reminded to shed our own layers, making space for rest, clarity, and renewal. This evening gathering is a sanctuary for deep reflection, guided by the transformative trio of Breathwork, Sound Healing, and Reiki.
We will journey through Conscious Connected Breathwork, awakening the body’s natural ability to release stagnant emotions, quiet the busy mind, and reset the nervous system. Breathwork in this season aligns perfectly with the West’s call for introspection, helping you move gently into the stillness of the months ahead.
Throughout the experience, Reiki energy will flow continuously, holding you in a field of safety and balance. This subtle, restorative energy supports emotional release, replenishes vitality, and harmonizes the mind-body connection as you move through each layer of the evening.
The journey will be bathed in the immersive tones of Sound Healing—crystal bowls, chimes, and rhythmic percussion—to soothe the nervous system, shift brainwave states, and open the heart. In the medicine wheel’s West, sound becomes a mirror for the inner world, helping integrate insights and anchor a sense of peace.
This evening is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the quiet wisdom within. You will leave feeling lighter, grounded, and aligned with the natural rhythm of the season.
While Conscious Connected Breathwork can be deeply healing, it may not be suitable for everyone. Please check with your healthcare provider before participating if you are pregnant, have severe or uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, recent surgery or injury, epilepsy or seizure disorders, severe mental health conditions (such as untreated bipolar disorder or schizophrenia), glaucoma or retinal detachment, aneurysms, or a family history of aneurysms. Your safety and comfort are our highest priority.
If any of the above apply—or if you simply prefer a softer experience—you are warmly invited to join by practicing calm, mindful breathing at your own pace. This may include gentle nasal breathing, box breathing, or extending your exhales to promote relaxation. You will still receive the full benefits of Reiki flowing throughout the session, the soothing effects of sound healing, and the peaceful atmosphere of the gathering, leaving you feeling restored and connected.
Padded mats, pillows, and blankets are provided in the yurt, but you are welcome to bring anything else that helps you feel comfortable.
