In the fall of 2002 The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania proclaimed the second Saturday of every January as “Invite your Neighbor to Dinner Day”. Since then neighbors in communities all over the country have been inviting their neighbors over for dinner as word of Dinner Day continues to spread from coast to coast! Neighbors invite neighbors (whether familiar or not-so-familiar!) to share a meal with the possibility of creating new friendships supporting one another and strengthen the very core of our communities!
