ABOUT
Invid has been a name to remember since 2013, when he founded his label Dubtastic Records. As a label owner, he helped countless young producers (some of which very successful today) unlock more potential and bring their music to the market. Sander's approach was one for the long game: he stood by and listened to all the music he could hear and provided production tips and feedback until the music was worthy to release to his ears.
This caused him to be an inspiration to many for founding their own label, and created a much needed layer of human intervention in the lives of producers who needed a break from music-making solitude or biased feedback from friends.
This led Sander and his projects to be featured in newspapers as well as blogs such as Red Bull Elektropedia, Fuzz Mag & many more. Sander built a lasting foundation of faith and community with many people and corners in and around Ghent, as he continued to spread his love for bass music and events: House Cookin' Records, Memento Music, Konfronted, Broei-Oei-Oei!, Opendex and Footloose are great examples of how Sander chose to express this everlasting need for bass and rythm.
In august 2024, Sander took a deadly fall and lost his left leg in a traffic accident. He's currently learning how to walk in between the horrific shots of pain that the wound and amputation are continuously causing. Even though this event was planned before, it's now part of Sander's Beenefiet fundraising program:
