From the author of "Fentanyl, Inc." comes St. Louis investigative journalist Ben Westhoff's first film, "Antagonist: How a Wonder Drug Got Sidelined." Filmed largely on the streets of St. Louis, the documentary explores how a medicine called naltrexone, despite helping many people beat opioid and alcohol addictions, has been buried by junk science and big-money interests. The work shows how a salty contrarian named Percy Menzies, founder of the local treatment center ARCA, fights against the tide in an effort to cure addiction and save lives. Visit AntagonistFilm.com. This event will include a screening of the film followed by a panel discussion with Ben Westhoff and other participants in the documentary.
