Established in the early 1930's, Mid Orange Correctional Facility was a boys reformatory. It is a massive location so be prepared to walk and climb stairs. The main building is 3 floors with MANY rooms to explore with the top floor being a chapel for religious worship. The Mess Hall building is deceptively large with a basement and subbasement. On the backside of the property there are dormitory buildings that you can also explore. This is a well known haunted location with a reputation of having apparitions, ghostly voices, foot steps, shadow figures, feelings of being touched etc. This is a very cool and very interesting location to investigate!Our events start with an introduction to the team at 6:00 PM
An explanation and demonstration of how to use the equipment
Then let the hunt begin.
At 1:00 Am we will conclude the ghost hunt.
A recap will commence at the reception, where the evening begins.
At that time, you can go over your experiences and share evidence.
That will conclude the event
Our evening will begin with a trustee leading us through the haunted history of the location. Everything you see on TV you will get to experience firsthand including how our paranormal equipment used by professionals works and the theories behind these devices. You are welcome to join team members with conducting various experiments throughout the night. However, these events are also free-roaming and we encourage you to investigate at your leisure, test your own theories and come up with your individualized conclusions. This event is limited to only 25 people total. Our events are for those 18 years and older only.
What to Bring:
• Please wear comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes. There may be debris on the floor and uneven ground to walk on. Flip flops and sandals are not recommended.
• Please bring a flashlight (phones can be used as long as they are on airplane mode)
• Water and snacks.
• You are welcomed and encouraged to bring your own equipment as well.

We are recovering addicts helping other recovering addicts with little life struggles along their journey.
All members of BLH are in recovery and have had our personal experiences along the way, while having some time in recovery. Where we didn't know what we were going to do while working and paying bills, trying to fix the wreckage of our past, maintaining a life of sobriety, and continuing to grow to better ourselves in our journey. We know the feeling of being overwhelmed and feeling like you just can't catch a break even though you are doing all the right things.
Our mission is to help people in the recovery community that have just hit a bump in the road. Doing all the right things and life is good, but yet something came up and they start to lose hope or get very discouraged. We all know that in everyday life things come up, but to an addict doing all the right things, it could be that 1 thing that sets them over the edge or gets them very depressed. Many things that seem minor to a person, could shatter an addicts spirt and make them start with the stinking thinking.... is this all sobriety is, why are they even bothering, does anyone truly care, and then they start to feel very alone.
EXAMPLE: A female after 3 years sober finally gets an apartment and gets her kid back. It is Christmas time and she wants to decorate the apartment to give them a nice 1st Christmas together again, but she has no extra cash with the new bills, taking care of a kid, trying to catch up and find a balance. So she starts to feel bad and down on herself like she is not worthy of everything she has gotten. Doesn't see all the good that she has accomplished, she is just focusing on the 1 thing that she feels she is failing at, all because of Christmas decorations. Most Charities or organizations don't help with issues like that. They don't see the importance of helping her decorate her apartment for Christmas, but to her, for her child and recovery it is very important. It gives her a little hope and reminds her that it okay to struggle in sobriety. That this a WE program.....there is help and WE are not ALONE!!
