Essential Yoga Studio is excited to welcome Instructor Elise Ferrer for a 3-part workshop on Inversions! Elise is a registered 200-hour yoga instructor currently leading classes at several Studios in the Springfield community. These workshops will be held Sundays, June 23 and July 7 and 21 from 2-330p.Elise is intentional about making yoga, including inversions, as accessible as possible for all students and each workshop in this series will build upon itself, offering education about poses and anatomy, warm-up exercises that prepare and strengthen the mind and body for time spent upside down, and pose set-up and support to transition students through simple inversions like downward facing dog and standing forward fold to more complex inversions like headstand, shoulder stand, and handstand.
So that individualized support may be provided, only 10 spots are available per workshop.
Special pricing is offered for current members of Essential Yoga Studio.
For members: $35 per workshop or $90 for the three-part series.
For non-members: $40 per workshop or $100 for the three-part series.
Please dress comfortably and bring notebook and pen for note-taking, if desired. Mats, props, hot tea, and water provided in-studio.
