Balancing can seem both inspiring and super intimidating the first time we see it. Technique and practice make all things possible. In this 8 week immersion we will look at how our hands, arms and shoulders, core and more, can best support us in the art of inverted balance postures such as Shoulder stand, Headstand, Forearm Stand and Hand Stand. We will alternate between anatomical lectures and a look at principles of asana to understand how our bodies can move. We will train progressively and learn how to work individually to maximize our potential while working safely for a sustainable long term life time of practice.
Note: This may apply as a yoga alliance CE Credit or may be applied, for those registered, as a module in the Boundless Yoga Studio 300 hour Teacher Training Program

Prerequisites and Requirements
1 minute plank pose
2 minute downward facing dog (or dolphin pose)
Note: This weekend is NOT for students with acute injuries to the wrists, elbows or shoulders. This weekend is not appropriate for students with glaucoma, uncontrolled blood pressure. Head stands are NOT required for students with neck sensitivities, we have alternative options.

2 months prior to first day of training Full refund.
1 month prior to first day of training 50% refund, 50% Studio Credit
2 weeks prior to training no refund, no credit, space may be transferred to another client.
