Come out to Bay County Conservancy, Inc.'s King Family Preserve next Friday, October 24th at 8am to learn about eradicating invasive plant species in conservation spaces. Starts with a 15-30min educational talk on what invasive species are, why we should manage them, the tools you'll need, and the actual process of eradicating the species. After this short intro chat, we'll start working on practicing your new skills!
This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to learn more about safe, effective ways to manage invasive species will the presence of someone with experience. It's also a good volunteer opportunity for anyone who is interested in helping maintain the health of crucial conservation lands.
King Preserve can be accessed from Wood Ave; there is ditch access between 15th St. & 19th St.
