Join us for an intuitive paint night at Bent River Rock Island Uncommon Room on February 26th from 6-8pm! 👨🎨Art with Atticus is an instructor-led class aimed toward helping participants release emotions and express creativity through their art. Rather than your typical follow along paint class, I encourage participants to get out of their mind and into their body to create their own unique masterpiece by trusting the process and allowing the paint to simply flow. Whether it's by using specific imagery, shapes, colors, etc. to symbolize different personal meanings, or getting lost in/ channeling the music that we have playing during the class, there are no right or wrong techniques in this class. It's a judgement free space to express whatever you need to express and have fun with it while also being in a community of like-minded individuals.
$20 Donation Fee for supplies & class. This donation fee is sliding scale as we believe that art should be accessible to all! If your donation is slightly less, that is okay- or if it is more, that will help others access activities as such, & we very much so appreciate that.
