Intuitive Fairy Art
Come join us at Kindred Healing Space for a magical event centered around creating fairy art!
Have you ever wanted to make a fairy dwelling? In this class, we will use foraged natural materials and trinkets to create intuitive, fairy-inspired art pieces. We will learn how to create fairy book dwellings, totems, and acorn fae, among other designs. Most importantly, we will lean into the intuitive process of creating with nature. Let's share inspiration, learn from each other, and invite in the magic of the fae.
Feel free to bring any materials you have collected/thrifted over the years. You can also bring materials to share if that resonates.
Materials to consider bringing (if you already have them):
-hot glue gun
-hardback or paperback book (bonus if your hardback book has a wallpaper-like inside cover)
-natural items such as rocks, crystals, shells, uniquely-shaped branches, etc. Remember the fae are generally smaller, so think mini
-dollhouse furniture/mini plastic toys, fairy garden pieces, beads or old jewelry
-flowers (fake or dried)
-scraps of fabric
-think outside the box! bring anything that calls to you, or show up ready to receive!
Abi will provide many different materials, including glue guns, books, hand-cut totem bases, a variety of mini trinkets, fabrics, fake flowers, and foraged materials like acorns, pinecones, and moss.
No prior art experience required - just an open heart and a willingness to let your imagination soar!
