Ready to quiet your mind and listen to your creative intuition? Join us and our friend, collage and mixed media artist Willow Malena (@PresonancePrints), for a relaxing, two-hour exploration of intuitive collage.
🎨 WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Willow will guide you through the fundamentals of intuitive collage, including how to select resonant imagery, basic principles of composition, layering techniques, and methods for proper adhesion. You'll play with paper and create something that is uniquely you, without rules or pressure.

You'll leave with your own unique collage art piece, full of unexpected connections and personal meaning.

🎒 WHAT TO BRING:
Just your curiosity! We will provide a mountain of found and repurposed papers and all the tools you'll need. However, you are welcome to bring any of your own special papers, photos, or ephemera that you'd like to incorporate into your work!
👨‍🎨 ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Willow Malena (he/they) is a collage and mixed media artist whose work is rebellious and multi-faceted. They prioritize intuition and play, allowing subconscious decisions to draw connections in unexpected places. Using mostly found and repurposed materials, he is deeply passionate about sustainability and breathing life into lost memories. Lack of a formal art education allows Willow’s work to be fully explorative, growing and changing constantly as their inspirations change and techniques evolve. When they aren't in their home studio buried in papers you can find Willow at Studio By The Tracks assisting other neurodiverse artists in their practices.
