Nothing but a willing spirit needed, novices welcome. 15+ years oldImmerse yourself in the art of wheel throwing. Our instructor will guide you through techniques in creating successful pottery pieces. Suitable for beginners and those looking to refine their skills. Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting clay on (it doesn't stain!). Short sleeve shirts and short nails recommended but not required. You will be able to chose your glaze and pick up your finished piece in 2-3 weeks. This course covers wheel safety, wedging, throwing, and clean up and is required prior to wheel membership at Iris & Stone unless you are a potter with at least 1 year experience.
