About this Event
Did you know that there are local plants growing wild that could be beneficial for your health?
If you were stung by a wasp or trying to stop bleeding, do you know what plant(s) to look for?
Join clinical herbalist, Zhyfhs Millicent, as she shares her excitement and knowledge of herbal medicine.
We'll look at plants you can use in first-aid situations for:
- insect bites & stings,
- stopping bleeding,
- skin rashes & burns,
- nerve pain,
as well as which parts of the plants to harvest, and how to prepare them (external or internal use; tea or tincture, etc.).
~ This location is mostly physically accessible - a few medium brief hills on the path
~ Consider bringing your notebook, camera, and questions (and your listening ears and smiles!)
~ No previous experience necessary; we will NOT be harvesting on this walk.
~ This event is free to attend, no cost. Just invest your time and attention.
~ Exact meeting location will sent out via email.
