The J Beekeeping Club is pleased to announce the following workshop – INTRODUCTORY BEEKEEPERS COURSE9:00AM - 3:00PM

Aimed at beginner beekeepers to set foundations of best practices in bee husbandry.
- Responsibilities and biosecurity
- Beekeeping Basics
- Getting started (Purchasing equipment, obtaining a colony)
- Extracting honey
- Hive inspection
Light lunch provided. (any dietary requirements need to be notified)
Please bring along a long sleeve shirt, long pants and close toed shoes if available, bee suit. No suits? no problem, suits are available for loan on the day
Non members: $95
Members: $45
A copy of the Australian Beekeeping Manual by Robert Owen, can be purchased at the same time as booking the course for a cost of $45.00. This will be given to the course participant on sighting of the ticket.
