Note: This class is a prerequisite to many other Zentangle® classes.“Introduction to Zentangle” will be taught by Laurel Storey, CZT® (Certified Zentangle Teacher®), and will provide a beginner with a background in the history of Zentangle, introduce them to the basic steps of the method, and expose them to associated vocabulary and tools used. Students will be immersed in learning tangle patterns as they create actual Zentangle paper “tiles” and will leave with a clear understanding that, “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”®
IN-PERSON classes are held at Artful3 Studio (#2-1156 Wyandotte Street East, Windsor, Ontario, Canada) on selected Mondays starting at 6:00 p.m., and selected Fridays starting at 1:00 p.m. A supply kit is included in the cost of all in-person "Introduction to Zentangle" classes, and will be given to registered students when they arrive at class. Students may keep this kit to continue their Zentangle practice at home, and should bring it to any future in-person advanced "next level" classes.
Introductory classes run for approximately 2.5 to three hours.
