This is the perfect course for anyone looking to start out with sewing or to improve your confidence on your machine. We also have a beginner sewing course running in the afternoon if you'd like to get some further practice.Learn all the basics of your sewing machine including:
-Setting up and threading your machine,
-Essential tools and materials for a beginner seamstress,
-Basic trouble shooting
-Cleaning and maintaining your machine,
-Practice sewing straight seams, curves and corners
Please bring your sewing machine, thread, bobbins and your sewing machine manual with you.
This workshop will be taking place in our Court Yard View Room which is located on the 1st floor and is only accessible via a winding staircase. Our team will be happy to help you carry your sewing machine upstairs if required
