Introduction to Watercolor | Painting Pumpkins
Join us for a fun and relaxing day of painting at Horton Iris Farm in Loomis. This in-person two-hour course is perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of watercolor painting, but is also beneficial to those with some art background. As a science illustrator, I'll go over the basics of outlining and sketching the form of the subject (in this case, fall pumpkins!), recognizing light and shadow areas, using color theory, and how to perform basic watercolor techniques and washes.
Don't forget to spare time to explore the gardens that will be in full fall bloom!
