About this Event
Photo to Print is a 3-part series. In this series, you will learn photography fundamentals on how to take images with a DSLR or advance mobile camera settings, upload and edit with Adobe Photoshop and turn your photos to stickers with our vinyl printer using Adobe Illustrator. Each program will be a continuation from the last. However, each program is provided as a introduction and can be taken independently too.
Print: Part 3
This workshop is an introduction to making cutlines in Adobe Illustrator for the Roland Versa STUDIO BN-20, a desktop vinyl printer with a cutting function. It can be used to create signage, stickers, labels, transfers for apparel, POP displays, window stickers, posters and more.
Cutlines are essentially lines which indicate the shape of a sticker. They can be a certain shape, or follow the outline of an image.
This class you will be able to make a 2"x3" stickers with your images.
Please register only if you are able to commit to all three programs or have prior knowledge in Photography, Photoshop, or Illustrator to drop in.
Registration is required and begins July 8th, 2024 at 12:30pm.
Note: Your spot will not be guaranteed after 5 minutes of the start of the program.
Class takes place in the 2nd floor eLearning Lab. Before using Illustrator, please be expected to log into your existing Adobe account, or through your Apple ID, Facebook or Gmail account, respectively.
