About this Event
Join MSU Extension Educator Lindsey Kerr and Detroit Bird Alliance for a guided walk focusing on birds and habitats. We hope to see spring warblers in the brushy thickets, raptors and woodpeckers in older trees, and hear spring frogs in the wetlands. While spotting a wide range of birds, we will discuss the plants that attract them to the area and provide them with places to nest and food for their young. This is an opportunity to learn more about how you can improve your garden or community greenspaces to support birds. This walk is approximately 2 miles and is primarily on paved paths.
Leaders: Lindsey Kerr (MSU) & Dale Browne
