About this Event

We’re so excited to host our very first upholstery class with Erica Sawdon of Sew & Stow

In this 3-hour hands-on workshop, Erica will teach you the basics of upholstering a chair seat or another small piece of furniture.

Please bring a chair with a seat you’d like to re-cover. If possible, have it stripped before you arrive — or you can pick one up from Home Remedy inside the Old Department Store, supporting their brilliant work keeping pre-loved furniture in circulation and out of landfill.

We’ll provide everything you need on the day, including fabric, webbing, hessian, rubberised coir, wadding, FR calico, staples and tacks.

Cost £40 per person
