About this Event
Join us for an engaging, interactive session where we will consider the definition and prevalence of trauma, explore the health outcomes of chronic stress, and learn about Trauma Informed Care. Attendees will not only deepen their understanding of the ways trauma impacts the brains, bodies, and behaviors of those they serve, they will also explore their own vulnerability to trauma. Together, we will consider trauma-sensitive ways to support resilience for our clients and ourselves.
This session is specifically for early childhood educators and providers, with 3 hours of CEUs approved by Missouri Early Connections.
This session is being hosted by Brookside Montessori (Amanda Doering, Director) and made available at no charge through the Childrens Services Fund of Jackson County (CSFJC), facilitated by the Center For Trauma Informed Innovation (CTII).
