Introduction to the SQE with The College of Legal Practice

Join Dr Giles Proctor, CEO of The College of Legal Practice, and Nicola Gordge, Student Recruitment Manager, for an informative session introducing the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) and the route to qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales.

This session will provide a clear overview of the SQE pathway, including what the SQE1 and SQE2 assessments involve and how Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) fits into the qualification process.

Students will gain a practical understanding of each stage of the route and what is required to successfully progress towards qualification.

The session will also explain how The College of Legal Practice will deliver the SQE preparation modules as part of Liverpool Hope University’s new LLM Legal Practice, including online teaching, learning resources, and academic and pastoral support.
