For over 100 years the National Audubon Society has conducted a Christmas Bird Count, compiling a detailed census of bird populations and trends. This presentation will cover the fascinating history of the country and show how the information gathered is used. We will also cover the way the count operates locally and present some of the data collected in Orange County.
