In this four-part, comprehensive workshop hosted at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, you will learn the Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass method, which is an alternative to using leaded channels between glass pieces. Cut and shape glass to fit your design pattern and create your own piece of art. Students will have a choice of patterns, glass colors, and textures to personalize their artwork. No experience required!Please note: Students will need to be available on Tuesday, June 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Please select your ticket type in the drop down menu. The bin glass option includes your choice of glass from the studio's copious scrap bins, while the premium sheet glass option includes both the bin glass and some sheet glass. Both options also include copper foil, solder, and unlimited use of student grinders and tools. Glass colors may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring safety glasses. If needed, safety glasses will be available for purchase from the studio for $5. We do not advise taking stained glass classes during pregnancy as some stained glass materials include lead.
