The 8 Limbs of Yoga, outlined by the sage Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras, offer a complete path for living a more mindful, balanced, and fulfilling life. This workshop goes beyond the poses(asanas) to explore the deeper wisdom of yoga, including ethical principles, self-care practices, breathwork, meditation, and the pursuit of inner freedom.
Through discussion, reflection, and simple practices, you’ll learn how to integrate the 8 Limbs of Yoga into your daily life—on and off the mat. Whether you’re new to yoga philosophy or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop will give you practical tools for cultivating clarity, presence, and peace.
In this workshop, we will explore:
• Yamas & Niyamas – ethical guidelines and personal practices for living with awareness
• Asana – finding steadiness and ease in the body
• Pranayama – connecting to the breath and life force energy
• Pratyahara – turning inward through mindfulness
• Dharana, Dhyana, & Samadhi – concentration, meditation, and states of inner harmony
