can leaders use it to lead successful transformations?
About this Event
“Traveler, there is no path. We make the road by walking.” We
have been here before. A decade of trying to install Scrum and
then SAFe has not led to the changes we hoped for. The
problems from before still remain entrenched despite ongoing
efforts to resolve them. The systems thinking approach offers a
way to build empathy for people caught in the middle.
Developing a nuanced understanding of the complexity
surrounding most transformations will help leaders practice
curiosity and mindfulness. This talk introduces systems thinking
and how it might aid leadership and coaching teams in
approaching transformations differently than attempting to
enforce behavior changes by simply setting performance
targets.
